Since India is vastly vegetarian, it has developed appetizing techniques of substituting meat, and paneer is one such perfect replacement. The quintessential paneer is a cheese used vastly in all flavors of North Indian cuisine, sweet, savory and tangy, and its union with spinach is a match made in heaven. This is a dish consisting of spinach and paneer in a thick sauce based on meltingly soft spinach strewn with chunks of mild paneer.
